A large company in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join their team! The position is a 12 month contract. Please review the job description below and apply if interested!
Job Duties:
- Assist with development of project requirements (cost, scope, schedule, project management plan)
- Monitors and controls project work, costs, schedule, quality, and procurements using tools based on Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.
- Recommends adjustments to scope/cost/schedule to Project Manager.
- Works closely with and supports the Project Engineers and Project Manager.
- Responsible for complete project reporting.
Job Qualifications:
- Engineering or technical degree desired.
- Completed PMP or PMP training preferred.
- 5-10 years' experience as a Project Controls Specialist.
- Experience working with project scheduling and project accounting software programs.
- MS Project fluency is a must with MS Project 2010 or 2013 product certification highly preferred.
- Ability to work with all levels of site personnel.
- Capable of providing management summaries and recommended actions.
- Experience using computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments.
