About this job
Tier 1 supplier to Ford & GM- Ford frames, GM colorado, chevy express and chevy savannahTool and Die technicians will be working in the stamping and fixturing segments of the plant.
There are two depts in the Tool Dept- Jig & Fixture and Die maintenance and repair:
Die maintenence, die repair, repair dies etc.- welding on dies, die maintenance. Getting inside the presses and troubleshooting dies- welding on the dies and determinig issues
In the fixturing segment they will be utilizing manual mills and lathes to machine parts for building tools. Also, they will be taking press calls and working with operators on pin reallignment
380 dies in house
Must be able to TIG weld and Machine using manual mill and lathes.
Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
