About us: We are a locally owned and operated small business that has been a part of the Washington, D.C. furniture market for more than a decade. We specialize in custom home furnishings for the modern urban lifestyle with many of our manufacturers based in the United States and Canada. We work to develop lasting relationship with our customers. We work closely with new and repeat clients to design, purchase, and deliver premier home furnishings while providing excellent customer service. We are a small staff and we work together on all facets of business operations to create a pleasant retail experience for customers and friendly work environment for staff. We are looking to add a new associate to our team that brings a positive attitude, contagious enthusiasm, willingness to learn and grow in the retail furniture industry, and excellent people skills.

About you: As a sales associate, you will be responsible for product and ordering knowledge, driving sales, providing excellent customer service, daily store operations, maintaining showroom and stockrooms, maintaining inventory control, client design appointments, and other duties as assigned. A business is only as good as its people and we are looking for friendly sales-driven professionals to join our team.

Qualifications:
* 2+ years sales experiences
* Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, POS Software)
* Excellent communication skills --both written and verbal
* Excellent people and phone skills
* Professional behavior and attire
* Detail oriented/Highly organized
* Furniture/interior design experience preferred
* Must be able to work evenings and weekends
* Physically able to move furniture and boxes
