Recruiting Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Recruiting Assistant.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

This is a contract to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. As a Temporary Recruiting Assistant you will be responsible for - May assist recruiter, and driver recruiting specialist, in posting jobs via job boards, college career sites, and state workforce sites. - Screens resumes from databases and applications from their Taleo system to identify candidates meeting minimum qualifications. - Conduct brief phone screening conversations. - Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and/or driver recruiting assistants. - Maintains accurate records on applicant status and provides timely responses to all applicants - Assist in providing offer letters and initiating/communicating the background screening process for selected candidates. Qualifications: - Associates degree equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum one year related experience required. - Prior demonstrated high-touch customer service and follow-up experience required. - Candidates with prior CDL driver recruiting/ recruiting support highly preferred, other general recruiting support will be considered - Prior Taleo or other applicant tracking system experience highly preferred. - Prior experience in mining candidate resume databases and phone screening applicants is highly preferred. - Qualified candidates must be effective communicators who are not afraid of the phone. - Bilingual, fluent English/Spanish written and verbal communication a plus Salary $15 to $16 per hour with the potential to earn more once hired directly!
