The Patient Services Coordinator plays a vital role on the patient care team, demonstrating the Swedish values of patient-centered care and service, respect, caring and compassion; teamwork and partnership; continuous learning and improvement; and leadership.
Act as a contact for clinic providers, patient and family, referring physicians, outside agencies, outside staff and general public by providing information regarding the clinic's services
Manage providers' schedules
Manage all incoming calls and electronic messages for the provider team
Schedule patient appointments
Facilitate patient management at registration, including referrals and follow up appointments
Provide check-in services, register new patients and collect co-pays as needed
