Store Manager - Outdoor Store - Field & Stream - Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for someone with Big-Box store management experience with open availability to relocate as other stores become available.

As a Field & Stream Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the store team in achieving Company objectives in sales performance, profit contribution and profit and loss control by managing the overall operational and administrative functions of the store.

• Leads the management team to drive the business performance of the store to consistently meet or exceed established goals and objectives in program metrics, profit & loss results, productivity, efficiency, etc.; ensures profitability through achievement of sales plans and goals. Works in conjunction with Community Marketing to maximize sales opportunities with local organizations.
• Upholds Company standards for merchandise presentation by managing the planning process for execution of established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, recovery procedures, in-stock processes, etc.
• Creates and sustains a culture of exceptional customer service among managers and associates while fostering an authentic environment for all outdoor enthusiasts.
• Performs Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities for the entire store, including management of opening and closing procedures, monetary assets, the customer experience, associate activities, and other duties as required. Ensures the efficient daily operations of the store.
• Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as adherence to laws and guidelines of external governing entities. Responsible for all compliance aspects of store operations.
• Ensures the effective management of associate performance and behavior by establishing a culture in which the management team provides appropriate feedback, recognition, coaching & development, corrective action, performance improvement planning, etc.
• Manages overall payroll to ensure budget compliance while maximizing staffing coverage throughout the store. Ultimately responsible for all recruitment initiatives, hiring decisions, and training compliance for all positions in the store.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• 5+ years of big-box store management experience
• MUST have passion and knowledge for hunting, fishing, or camping
• High School Diploma or equivalent
