About this job

This role works closely with the Global Ops Global Real Estate Services team to 1) manage the forecasts and budgets for several North America facilities (Parkwood, Winston-Salem, Chicago, Rogers, Miami, etc.) totaling ~$40+MM; and 2) to identify and quantify global productivity opportunities using new business models (e.g. Real Estate Investment Trust, own vs. lease, in-house vs. outsourcing, etc.). The Global Real Estate Services team is a relatively new "horizontal team" within Global Operations where the team is driving global best practices and "better together" approaches. This role will work across Sectors to drive visibility in Facilities related spend, identify synergies and opportunities and integrate such opportunities into Sector strategic plans/AOPs. This role will also work with various Divisions/Functions to develop real estate and capital improvement Capital Allocation Requests (CARs) for large corporate initiated projects. In addition, this role will work closely with several Controls teams (in Dallas, Chicago, etc.) to ensure actuals are captured appropriately and create reporting to highlight variances to plan and forecasts for all NA Facilities within scope.

Qualifications:

8-10 years of experience with a Bachelors and progressively increasing experience in financial management; MBA Finance strongly preferred

Analytical and modeling skills with sound financial understanding of lead/lag indicators

Experience with PepsiCo financial processes (Strat Plans, AOPs, etc.) & systems (SAP)

Knowledge of real estate transactions, and/or construction accounting preferred

Excel, Access, and Powerpoint knowledge a must

Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience - requires working with many senior executives across multiple Sectors/matrixed teams

Ability to work independently and take ownership to drive progress; organized and capable of multi-tasking

Project management experience required   

Proven expertise at developing executive level presentations strongly preferred

From time to time analyze large data sets informing requirements for cost, capacity, and utilization of corporate assets

International experience preferred

Must be willing and able to travel 15% of the time
