As a Business Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives. This is a position that affords you the ability to drive processes and improvement initiatives. By gathering and documenting business requirements and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and/or clients, you will have an impact on healing the health care system. This position will provide high level business analysis in a fast-paced environment. In addition to high analytical expertise and a strong passion for data analysis, this position requires strong business and communication skills across departments that are supported by the contact center. The position will assist with projects that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information to the HouseCalls organization in conjunction with additional partners: clinical operations, pharmacology, provider relations and finance. This position will support long term operational/strategic business activities by maintaining operational information and models. This position will support new effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Gather and document business requirements

  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients

  • Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience

  • Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies

Major Responsibilities:



  • Analyze and present qualitative and quantitative analysis and data to Management and other business partners

  • Understand key objectives and assess actionable insights of data requests to support project goals

  • Participate in a cross functional team environment and handle a variety of concurrent projects and initiatives

  • Provide analytical support and guidance to other functional areas

  • Apply understanding and execution of analysis concepts, methodologies and practices

  • Effectively develop, document and communicate requirements to meet business and client needs

  • Compile and report key information that drives processes and technological improvements for the business

  • Use data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities

  • Publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent work experience

  • 1+ years of experience in business/finance including analysis experience with a solid understanding of data storage structures

  • Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and/or process improvement recommendations

  • 1+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)

  • Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with long term forecasting in a call center environment
