Community Service Representative - Sales and Marketing

Objective:
The Community Service Representative is expected to perform a variety of duties in the marketing of companionship and home care services.  They are expected to research and pursue new referral sources and to enhance and maintain existing referral sources.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Reflect the core values of Fagan Associates, Inc. / Partners In Care (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter information into ClearCare, print out service call form, mail brochure letter as applicable.
  • Research and identify sources for client referrals
  • Make contact with new RPNs in person according to the established goals.This would include intro calls, info calls, one on one meetings or group presentations using video and print material to educate and inform them on available services
  • Research, schedule and successfully execute regular community marketing events including health fairs, senior expos and any other event that would promote our service to the general public
  • Drive Franchise Owner participation in all company events and programs.
  • Follow up on all RPN contacts with appropriate correspondence such as thank you notes
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and CAREGivers
  • Develop positive relationships with RPN’s through personal contact, written communications, appreciation and community involvement.
 
 
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct service calls as needed
  • Conduct client/CAREGiver introductions as needed
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) visits with clients
  • Participate in all CAREGiver meetings
 
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • High school graduation or the equivalent
  • One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and car insurance
 
Critical Numbers:
  • Number of Impressions a week
  • Number of New RPN Impressions a week
  • Number of Group Presentations a week
  • Number of Service Inquiries a month
     
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • This position must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Fagan Associates / Partners In Care (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • This position must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • This position must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues, the franchise owner, clients and the community
  • Ability to sit at a desk and listen effectively for long periods of time on the telephone
