Position Summary:
Responsible for the definition, development and implementation of standardized Best Practices in Supply Chain core functions that leverage existing systems and maximize efficiencies. Serve as the point of contact for the user community supporting issue validation and scoping. Act as a liaison & facilitate communication between system users and IT to resolve systems issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Track problems and help with the review processes and system configuration
Research the root cause and recommend fix with process and technology
Ability to smoothly interface with business partners to elicit and document requirements that may cross multiple functional areas and identify gaps.
Work with IT, DC, Finance, Inventory Control, Merchandising, Allocations and other work groups to ensure systems and processes are continuing to completion
Ability to support East and West Coast facilities
Hands-on oversight of the operations for production environments and services by identifying, resolving and/or escalating issues
Participate in functional portion of system issue resolution
Provide single point of contact for business to request triage and troubleshooting for its processes in the short term
Provide off hour support as necessary for both East and West Coast operations
Identifies and takes steps to prevent potential situations that could result in loss of company assets
Plan and execute analysis and implementation of future functionality usage within the WMOS product in concert with business users and IT members
Documentation and monitoring of business processes effectiveness
Manage projects related to WMS modifications or DC process changes on an as needed basis
Dematic Material Handling Equipment interfacing
Direct Supervisor Job Requirements - Internal Use Only - Must be available for early morning start
