Portland, TN - Macy's Logistics: Inventory Control and Quality, Full Time - Full-time

Overview:

Warehouse position responsible for the overall accuracy and cycle counting of merchandise.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform the timely and accurate cycle counts by scanning UPC's
• Operate Material Handling Equipment, at heights, as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
• To receive, putaway, pick, pack and ship merchandise in a safe, accurate and productive manner. Associates will be cross-trained in multiple areas.
• Key accurately and productively using PC's, RF unit or other such devices.
• Adhere to conveyor lock-out procedures.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Work on elevated platforms and conveyor systems.

• Affinity for problem solving, investigating, and troubleshooting issues
• Ability to make connections and inferences based on limited data; initiative to explore potential root cause.
• Ability to understand and communicate directions in the distribution center regarding Standard Operating Procedures and security & safety guidelines.
• Meet accuracy and productivity standards.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
