Position Description:
Positions in this function include those responsible for providing process and operational support to the functions within Business Operations Family. Positions in this function may also be responsible for quality reporting, analysis and audits, and for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive a list of claims which failed with an error at the State Encounter system.
- Work the list by looking up claims in Facets or Diamond, reviewing claims images, and tracking what actions the processor (or system) took, etc.
- Document findings in MS Excel spreadsheet, word, etc.
- Partner with key IT/other business group leads as necessary to complete actions/next steps.
- Be accurate with details in a repetitive quick paced environment.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word and MS Excel).
- Bachelors Degree.
- Experience with Diamond and/or CSP Facets claims platforms.
- Experience
with analyzing claims data from the both a claims front-end and
applicable database(s) in order to make decisions based on pre-defined
rules and SOPs/work instruction. - Experience in the claims system, including voids, pulling specific data elements and documenting claims information.
