Summer Maintenance - Part-time

This seasonal position is responsible for maintenance duties at the Hersheypark Camping Resorts.

The hourly pay rate for this position starts at $7.45.

Job Functions:

• Functions include cleaning of cabins,restroooms, playground and group areas, and campsites
• Picking up trash
• Cleaning off fire grills
• Operating lawn equipment to include lawn mowers, string trimmers, chain saws and hedge trimmers, and other duties as assigned.
• Making electrical and plumbing repairs to cabins, restrooms, and campsites.
• Fill propane tanks and RV's.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Additional Qualifications:

• Proven employee/guest relations, and organization skills.
• Professional image representative of property image.
• Capable of working alone and being a self-starter.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
• Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions:

• Physical requirements include complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, and ability to tolerate heat.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals. Schedule varies according to operational needs, but includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
