Medical Billing and Collections Part Time, may lead to full time: Surgical practice in Princeton, NJ seeking an experienced medical billing and collections associate. Candidates must be very familiar with out of network benefits, private pay, Workers' Compensation and No Fault. Must have working knowledge and experience in medical collections as well as ICD-9 and CPT coding. Ability to write a clear and concise appeal letter, collection letter and general correspondence a must. Must be comfortable calling insurance companies and patients regarding payments/balances. Must be able to present themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Experience in charge entry and payment posting is a plus. Excel experience a plus.
