SHIFT: 12HOUR, Varied EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Seasonal/Casual/OnCall/Supplemental HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 16 JOB ID: 1500011429

The incumbent is a caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability with their partner, a Paramedic, for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric. The incumbent will provide safe, therapeutic care for these patients by the use of the Emergency Medical system process/patient care process, by her/his self, the environment, and other health care team members with the use of multidisciplinary processes.

REQUIRMENTS:

Minimum 6 months with either EMS provider or Fire Service

Patient Care and Code 3 Driving

High School Diploma or equivalent

Able to read, write and communicate clearly

Completion of EMT requirements

Ability to meet patient/family needs in a cost-effective manner through efficient use of resources

Ambulance driver license

Drivers license

EMT certification

Medical Examiner

S-SV EMS

BLS

PREFERRED:

Computer skills to complete required patient care reports and daily logs
