This is a key leadership position in the Southern Commercial Banking Division. Based in Overland Park, Kansas this leadership position will lead Regional Commercial Banking Offices in Overland Park, Kansas City and Wichita covering the state of Kansas. This position is responsible for managing a group of Relationship Managers and credit support team covering an existing portfolio of middle market relationships and leading the sales efforts for team. This individual will be responsible to execute on our strategy to double our business over five years through collaboration and partnering with cross-sell business partners.

Responsible for managing commercial middle market relationship managers within a region and/or for a major industry. Duties include working with senior management in developing annual business plans, and directing the group in execution of these plans; actively participating in the completion of major transactions; coordinating credit review and loan workout functions; managing commercial middle market relationship managers who manage credit based loan products, traditional banking services such as cash management and/or custodial/transfer agent services. May direct the business of originating credit related products, treasury management products, investment banking/capital markets products. Typically in the delivery of these products a bank participates as a principal and assumes the risk of its own capital.

8+ years account relationship management experience. Demonstrated underwriting experience involving advanced commercial and/or specialty group middle-market relationship portfolio credit. Demonstrated sales and leadership skills. Comprehensive knowledge of credit policy, compliance and underwriting requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of commercial and/or specialty group banking products, and the credit practices/operating risks associated with them. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. 3+ years managing a diverse business providing both traditional and non-traditional financial products and services to customers Experience in Credit Administration Experience managing an office and/or specialty business Experience and/or connectivity within the Kansas market Direct leadership experience, managing people with a demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members with varying levels of experience Experience working collaboratively across multiple partner groups Direct experience representing Wells Fargo in the community Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
