The Integration Architect will be part of AutoNation’s Digital Technology group and drive Integration Architecture to support the company’s strategy for improving B2B/B2C practices including reporting and analysis. Key responsibilities include design, build and coordination of solutions with external business partners, internal Architects, Business Analysts and Developers to create new applications and enhancements to meet business goals. Key solutions include optimization and enhancement of existing integrations as well as building the foundational new integration architecture to support AutoNation’s digital roadmap to enable high volume online transactional sales, service and marketing web applications across various digital channels. This position includes managing an API central repository through versions, security, runtime availability, monitor usages and contracts. As an Integration Architect, you are involved in every single step of a project. This is what makes the job so interesting and challenging, using technologies such as XML, XSLT, XSD, .NET Framework, C#, Web Services, WCF, BizTalk Server or PNMSoft Sequence, Mule Soft or Web Methods, Azure and more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical design and implementation of B2B, B2C and internal application integration
  • Collaborate with other team members to obtain the required skill set to help Digital Technology to deliver the quality business application and beyond
  • Work with the newest Microsoft technologies such as WCF, WF, SharePoint and newest Azure cloud based solutions
  • Orchestrate business flows and build manageable rules engine (any prior experience in building rules engine will be a plus)
  • Get involved in project initiation phase and you should work with business partners to build concepts and models, a splendid proof of concept or a stunning demo presentation
  • Responsible for a high level project analysis and estimation
  • Work with Enterprise architects to design the integration architecture and provide detail analysis
  • Gather all functional requirements which should result into a robust technical analysis. This involves a lot of meetings and discussions with business stake holders and technical teams
  • Get your development team up to speed

Qualifications Mandatory:

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or similar field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the field of Software Application Integration Architecture
  • Experience in delivering a complex enterprise service bus application across multiple B2B platform
  • Must be seasoned in application Integration practices:
    • Enterprise Service Bus Implementation
    • Service Oriented Architecture
    • B2B/B2C Vendor API Integration
    • SSO Capabilities with Vendors
  • Must be guru of at least one or more Integration application tools: BizTalk, PNMSoft Sequence, Web Methods, Mule Soft, Tibco or any other
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the technology concepts, practices, and procedures including:
    • Digital ecommerce Web Development ( Majorly using Microsoft Platforms)
    • Agile and Waterfall SDLC delivery experience
    • Technical Design and Development
    • Software development design patterns
    • Database: MS SQL Server, MongoDB
    • Microsoft TFS, VSS, PowerShell Scripting, Visual Studio 2012
    • Integration Skills – MSMQ, Windows Server AppFabric, WCF, WF, SOA (SOAP/REST)
    • Experience with Web Content Management Systems
    • Application performance tuning and optimization
  • General Development Concepts – Object Oriented Programming, Frameworks, Code Generation, Design Patterns and Practices
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills, code and design reviews along with architectural documentation
  • Learns quickly and can function with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a mission critical fast-paced environment with ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Retail, Automotive, and Financing industries are a plus
  • Languages: XML, JSON, BSON, Java
  • Content Management Tools such as SiteCore.
