Title: Social Media Channel Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: Ongoing (renewable per quarter)


Location of position: San Jose based

Key must-have qualifications:

- Plus, Cisco experience
- Strong business sense and savvy to communicate with stakeholders and management. (Director level +)
- Lead the industries component-industry experience; doesnt necessarily have to have a technical focus, field background ok, must be able to catch on to messaging & messaging goals
- Project management experience (strength; organized can manage multiple projects and schedules)
- Knows social; experience with social media
- Strategy and execution, strategy stronger than execution; strategist perspective; Channel Manger capabilities/experience for execution
- Ability to coordinate cross industry activities and requirements for a holistic plan
- Metrics analysis, on strategy side, tell a good story and develop insights, what content works what didnt
- Thought leadership, program strategy: 5 industries for focus: retail, financial services, manufacturing, energy, public sector/government- to development social communications plan
- Strong communication skills-Innovative level communication over technical focus; B2B not B2C experience
- Some agency management experience, recognize what their needs are vs what is being delivered and how to get what they need from current deliveries or be able to communicate needs from third parties.
