CVS Caremark and Minute Clinic have established a variety of programs and offerings to support and collaborate with health care vendors, health care providers, including physician groups, hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs).

This individual in this role will be an innovative thought leader, building the overall function for health system connectivity. The Senior Advisor will act as the primary liaison to build and foster the relationship across various vendor communities as well as provide support for the sales and contracting team on all aspects of providing electronic connectivity between CVS Caremark and providers. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Provider Connectivity.

The main duties of this role will be to; maintain relationships with internal clients, providers, and will be a strategic leader to identify creative and innovative solutions in the changing healthcare industry landscape.

Duties include:

• Working with Minute Clinic to establish best practices for IT connectivity.

• Working with internal Health Systems Alliance teams to help establish SOP’s, best practice documentation and affiliate facing materials.

• Working as a liaison between CVS Caremark technical teams and the IT teams of providers to implement these connections in accordance with Affiliation Agreements signed between CVS Caremark and providers.

• Supporting our sales and contracting team on all aspects of providing electronic connectivity between CVS Caremark and providers, including connection between the MinuteClinic EHR and provider EHR and connection between CVS Caremark’s Consumer Engagement Engine (CEE) and the provider EHR.

• Providing relationship management to various EHR vendors (e.g. EPIC, Allscripts), Health Information Exchanges, Population Health and other parties that can support our efforts to connect with providers.

• Exploring and developing long term strategies to expedite the connectivity of health information contained by CVS Caremark that can support provider efforts to manage the cost and quality of care.

• Work with Sr. Director of Provider Connectivity to identify new and future models of care, and technology within the healthcare it space. Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree required, Masters Degree preferred. 2. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years experience in health care or healthcare information technology field required. 3. Knowledge and capabilities related to EHR vendors, health information exchanges (HIE) and Population Health is required. 4. Ability to innovate within a large organization 5. Strong project management skills required, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior internal and external leadership. 6. Healthcare IT Sales, B2B sales or technical business development background is preferred 7. Ability to lead and influence others and to affect change. 8. Proven ability to work effectively with teams and independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications:
