Data Analyst (SQL Reporting for Gaming company) is needed for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Analyzing big data from SQL Databases to report either new or improve existing gaming strategies with developers
What You'll Be Doing:
- Able to analyze raw data from SQL databases (required) or using BI tools (e.g. Tableau, etc.) and translate into technical specifications to developers
- Interfacing with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams, SME and stakeholders
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of three (3) years enterprise data analyst with big data in either Financial, Banking, Pharmaceutical, Gaming, etc.
- Able to communicate effectively between technical (i.e. developers, testers), non-technical (i.e. users, general staff) as well as cross-functional audiences
- BA / BS in Computer Science or related Engineering industries
Bonus Points!
- Gaming industry or passion for gaming industry, but not required, open to social media or entertainment as well.
- Data modeling or data analyst related
- Business Intelligence (Big Data), we use Tableau.
