This is an opportunity to practice as a pharmacy technician in a growing segment of healthcare, home infusion services. Work for an industry leader and the largest home infusion organization and play an integral role in high-quality care to patients every day! Key responsibilities * Tracking lab data and narcotic prescriptions and processing patient prescription refills under the direct approval and supervision of the pharmacist. * Assist the pharmacist in obtaining authorization for pharmacy services as requested; validate insurance coverage and communication with patients. * Gather information for the initial admission of new patients and review all new charts to ensure that all necessary nursing paperwork is included. * Manage the schedule for patient deliveries, manage inventory, create and maintain supply templates in the pharmacy computer data base. * Document all supply management activities in the patient medical record. * Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. Required Qualifications:

* At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function, * National pharmacy technician certification. Eligible for state registration, certification or licensure per state regulations. * Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. * Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with medical insurance and medical terminology Education:
