Nurse Educator - Cardiology - Spectrum Health Medical Group - Full-time / Part-time

Nurse Educator assesses, plans, implements and evaluates orientation, in-services, competencies, and continuing education programs within area of specialization. Promotes a model of continuous learning through participation in education, consultation, role modeling and research. Facilitates and supports learning opportunities for the organization and the community, with particular emphasis on programs that impact the entire organization, across team lines.

Basic Qualifications:

Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing(BSN)

Experience - 2 years of experience in acute care clinical experience required; related to area of focus preferred

Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN)

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire

BLS Instructor within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Education - Master's Degree in Nursing Education or Adult Education

Experience - Education and program development

Licenses - Certification in clinical specialty or Nursing Professional Development, or acquired when eligible

Some Pediatric experience preferred
