The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.

Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Unsecured Credit Risk t eam manages the credit quality of the unsecured CCS portfolios, partnering with Consumer Financial Services, Education Financial Services and Retail Services from origination through account management and authorizations to collections.

We’re looking for a senior risk consultant to lead the design and implementation of the complex data framework across multiple platforms and databases for the new risk collection system.

The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience in:

• Developing and managing highly sophisticated software that is designed to manage and triangulate the complexity among processes, strategies and workflows

• Having superior knowledge of quantitative approaches leveraged in banking industry in order to perform complex analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and strategic objectives

• Leveraging software development methodology to lead and successfully execute system decision strategies that are enhanced in rapid pace (days or weeks) to react to business needs

• Working collaboratively and effectively with technical partners, business partners and strategy experts

• Writing scripts to streamline and automate complex processes including QC check and data validation procedures

• Developing and monitoring automated processes to execute the collection strategies daily for all 4 Lines of businesses, Card, Personal Line & Loan, Retail Services, and Education Finance, and create QC and quality control

7+ years risk reporting and/or analytics experience, 3+ years leadership experience. • Strong knowledge and ability to use SAS, SQL or other BI tool to support reporting, analytics insights, and communication of results

• Strong Unix shell scripts or Perl programming in production environment

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Risk Management to manipulate and process mass data through complex logic, and provide MIS support

• 10+ years prior work experience in big data environment in a financial services industry

• Demonstrated ability to learn and identify solutions that meet constraints of business requirements.

• BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, statistics or similar disciplines

• Master, MBA, Ph.D. degrees in computer science, MIS, statistics, engineering or similar quantitative disciplines

• Portfolio risk management experience in the financial services sector

• Previous experience with unsecured lending with a focus on credit cards

• Working knowledge of FDR, TSYS, ECaR and their processes, data outputs, rule creation decision platforms, etc.
