We have an immediate opening for a Regional Diverse Segments Consultant (RDSC).

This individual creates, directs and implements regional and local tactical marketing plans to develop a significant market share in ethnic minority and immigrant communities and with low and moderate-income homebuyers.

Employs a full range of programs and services to capitalize on current and future market opportunities in those specific markets.

Increases the visibility of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc. through partnerships, strategic alliances, and work with regional staff to grow Emerging Markets sales force.

Recruits, orients, trains, and develops Home Mortgage Consultants and Branch Managers in the region and participates in the ongoing development of the sales team.

5+ years sales and mortgage industry experience. Extensive knowledge of mortgage products, policies, and procedures, underwriting requirements, conventional, governmental loan requirements as would normally be acquired through five plus years of experience in mortgage banking or equivalent training and/or experience Demonstrated ability to thoroughly comprehend programs and policies and ability to communicate these policies Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture relationships with a broad-based network of housing professionals and organizations Demonstrated ability to understand and work with secondary market, government, local assistance, and bond and portfolio products Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong organizational and negotiation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize workload, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks Strong interpersonal skills to effectively approach, influence, and develop business relationships with local and regional WFHM/Wells Fargo Management Demonstrated ability to recruit and train loan officers and branch sales managers This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
