Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for serving food and drinks to guests; maintaining the highest level of customer service and food and beverage standards as determined by Food and Beverage Management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Mix and serve drinks.
* Check patrons' identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
* Enter transactions into the POS system, accept money and make change.
* Stock supplies in the lounge/bar area.
* Observe and make decisions regarding intoxicated guests in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Management’s established policies and procedures.
* Train new bartenders and servers.
* Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as the pantry area and the lounge.
* Perform other job related activities as required or requested by the Food & Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
* High school diploma or GED required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
* 1 to 2 years supervisory experience.
* Basic math and cashier skills; ability to work with POS system.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* If serving alcoholic beverages must meet the state’s minimum age requirement.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have good analytical skills and decision-making ability.
* Proficient in MSWord, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
* Able to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work; good work ethic.
* Able to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills including tact, patience, courtesy and problem solving ability; work well with customers and co-workers.
* Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Able to operate vacuum cleaner, laundry washer and dryer, chemical dispenser, HMS computer.
* Obtain any locally required certifications.
