Cashier - Full-time / Part-time

The primary responsibilities of the cashier position are to provide amazing customer service, process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, and to be proficient in all cash register operations.

• Provide amazing customer service at all times
• Greet each customer that comes into the store
• Accurately operate cash register/POS terminal
• Solicit customers to join our Ace Rewards membership program
• Handle returns and exchanges quickly and efficiently
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Watch for shoplifters and take action within company guidelines
• Be alert for safety issues
• Answer incoming phone calls per store policy
• Possess strong communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management
• Use of common sense and good judgment at all times
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards
• Have a willingness to learn a wide variety of products
• Know and be able to perform a salesperson duty as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned by store management
