Position Summary: 

The Store Administrative Assistant ensures day-to-day communication from Corporate is directed to the appropriate Executive and/or Associate, manages timekeeping and scheduling systems, reports total store payroll and other functions as directed by the Store Management.

 Primary Duties:

Customer Service:

  • Responds to POS back up calls and assists at POS as needed

Operations:

  • Reads and shares  store’s communication including email and mail tote content
  • Monitors store workload calendar and responsibilities
  • Enters and maintains all applicable data in the store scheduling system
  • Reviews and edits store schedules in accordance with Store Management guidance
  • Processes store payroll
  • Organizes new hires paperwork, including submitting employment status, job and personal information changes in the applicable system
  • Orders supplies following store budget guidelines, working with Store Management to monitor store expenses

Other:

  • Assists with other duties as assigned, including but not limited to:: assisting at POS, price changes, fitting room recovery, sales floor and fitting room recovery, housekeeping duties

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior administrative experience in general office, in expense control or in human resource administration

Job Requirements:

  • Store interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments within the store.  Physical activities may include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
  • Adherence to Store policy and procedures is required
  • Regular attendance is required
