JOB DESCRIPTION
We're currently seeking an Accounting Support for a contract opportunity in Beltsville, MD . This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world's leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.
- Supports the preparation, verification process and maintenance in a variety of one or more general accounting functions or documents.
- Reconciles semi-complex transactions and accounts.
- Uses office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.
- May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines and schedules.
- Ability to work independently and think outside the box.
- Possess strong written and oral communications skills as well as great analytical skills.
- Ability to identify and research discrepancies in a prompt manner.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Prior accounting experience in the construction finance is a plus.
