The Manager of Retail Used Equipment Sales reports to the Director of Fleet Remarketing. This position will be based out of the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

Key Responsibilites:

* Profit and Loss responsibilities for the Retail Used Equipment Sales Location.

* Responsibility for Used Equipment Sales by geography, by performing direct sales

and supporting sales by HERC general sales force.

* Developing and maintaining relationships with Customers.

* Sales growth -- development of customers and expansion of product category sales.

* Employee Relations

* Inventory Management

* Daily administrative responsibilities associated with the area.

Mandatory Requirements:

Educational Background:

College Degree required.

Professional Experience:

* Proven track record with 3+ years sales experience within the heavy equipment industry. Preferably the experience is related to the market of responsibility.

* Excellent Customer Relationships Skills, Broad Fleet knowledge, and ideally involvement in coaching/mentoring within the used equipment sales field.

Knowledge:

* Broad range of construction equipment knowledge, industry trends, market pricing.

* Knowledge of local competition.

* Strong grasp of used equipment market -- competitive tendencies; pricing; customer base.

Skills:

*Strong sales skills.

*Ability to work autonomously.

*Excellent communication ability

*Work with all levels of the branch, region and corporate organization

*Can quickly adjust to changing priorities

*Attention to detail

*Sense of urgency

*Ability to operate many types of equipment, preferred but not required.
