In this Network Security Architect role, you will be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and applications plan, including the components required to support it and in the integration of corporate and business architecture and applications. 


 



Primary responsibilities:



  • You will collaborate with the business to understand/influence business requirements

  • You will demonstrate understanding of cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impact

  • You will maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions

  • You will ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals/objectives

  • You will identify and quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems

  • You will facilitate/lead/participate in identification of solution options and features

  • You will communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews) 

  • You will incorporate software and system architecture (e.g. infrastructure, network) into conceptual designs

  • You will ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans)

  • You will identify gaps between established standards and proposed solutions, and follow the exception/waiver process as needed

  • You will maintain awareness of current technology assets and the capability of each

  • You will understand and adhere to architecture Governance framework

  • You will deliver all project deliverables on scope, on time and on budget

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




  • A minimum of five years experience in secure Networking from architecture, managing, planning/analysis, design, configuration, implementation, administration, and monitoring



  • A minimum of three years of experience leading complex security projects/programs for a large enterprise organization


  • A minimum of five years of experience supporting network security incident response activities including detection, analysis, containment, response and prevention procedures

  • Team lead or management experience

Preferred Qualifications:




  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience



  • Previous architecture experience in IaaS or PaaS in Cloud computing



  • Managing Mobile computing infrastructure



  • Specific experiences in architecture, engineering, deployment and operational management of a robust infrastructure security environment



  • Specific experience managing projects / programs from concept through implementation ( including the rollout of supporting oversight processes) using a structured project management methodology across the entire project life cycle



  • Exposore to Software-Defined Networking (SDN)



  • Familiarity with IT Governance standards including ITIL and CoBIT



  • Industry-specific certifications, including one or more of the following: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GCIH or GCFA



  • Experience with healthcare services and technical requirements of a health benefits company desired



  • Knowledge of application and data security architecture



  • Proven experience implementing and leading information risk management programs with regard to legislation, regulation and guidance at the State and Federal level, including SOX, HIPAA, GLB, PCI and/or CFR Part 11
