JOB SUMMARY:
Resin and color are extruded into a sheet of polypropylene which is then fed through a water bath to cool the sheet. The sheet then passes over rollers, through oven(s) and then across a slitter bar which fibrillates the sheet into strips which are then wound onto a cone with the use of an aspirator by the operator. The operator will then doff the machine once the cycle is complete. Machine may doff in excess of 100 packages at a time.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
- Manufacture 100% first quality
- Constantly monitor line/machinery to ensure properly working
- Doff yarn bobbins label and Visually inspect yarn for quality
- Make sure lines are running in correct specification
- Check doff times and complete doff records
- Check labels vs. Running lot, Maintain color concentrate
- Attend daily safety huddles, practice safety in all processes, roll up air hoses when not in use, ensure guards are down in place
- Maintain a clean work area
- Report any quality issues or other concerns to management immediately
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Perform lot/color change

Supervision Received:
Direct supervision received by shift supervisor

Authority and Accountabilities:
Manufacture 100% first quality safely and efficiently

Work Environment:
Extreme temperatures
Noise level exceeds 100 decibels
12 hour shifts
Requires use of ear plugs and safety glasses

Job Qualifications:
A. Training/Education/License/Certification/Registrations/Minimum Requirements:
Able to follow directions
Positive attitude, excellent attendance
B. Experience Minimum Requirements:
Prior experience with fibrillated synthetic grass extruder lines a plus
C. Physical Requirements:
Withstand extreme temperatures (extreme heat in summer, cold in winter)
Stand for long periods of time
Lift minimum of 50lbs consistently for periods of time
Reach at least 6ft from base of floor
Bend and stoop at moderate levels
Basic computer skills
