MBT USA, INC is looking for qualified Market Reps in several locations (West Coast and East Coast).
Position Accountabilities
* Responsible for sell in of product to accounts, opening new accounts, and servicing existing accounts.
* Assures the sell through of MBT shoes, makes observations within the market, and recommend actions.
* Assures the execution of Running marketing and promotion initiatives with key US Retailers, Events, and Athletes.
* Assures management of social media tools and direct-to-consumer communications related to MBT focused on the Running community
* Assures achieving sales and coordination of sales-related activities. providing the necessary tools, support, and resources required.

Position Essential Functions
* Travel to, train, and support the local accounts within the territory. Build and hit territory sales targets.
* Manage growth and expand MBT USA's footprint within region. Other duties may be assigned.
* Provide sales reports to the Brand Director pertaining to the Market Reps' observations while visiting and
interacting with accounts.
* Travel outside of his/her territory to key events involving the MBT brand such as large marathons, expos,
tradeshows, and sales meeting.
* Responsible for travel and events with the MBT mobile vehicle when in his/her territory.
* Manages customer/key account engagement for MBT Running through product tech clinics, launch programs, sales contests, seeding and other tactics as developed.
* Manages consumer engagement through product launches, social media, running events, and athlete sponsorship.
* Creates national running promotions strategies, tactics, and executes them.
* Negotiates sponsorship agreements with key running events and athletes
* Coordinates running advertising program, trade, and consumer.
* Serves as first point of contact for urgent customer calls and emails.
* Assists with marketing needs, including trade shows and developing and sourcing point of sale tools.
* Assists with forecasting, budgeting, and development of SMU (Special Make Up) Programs
* Contributes to running product line assortment planning and identifies needs for the market.
* Provide education and training on MBT to increase sales associate product knowledge.
* Assists the CEO and Brand Director, Director, New Business Development & Operations with projects as requested.
Position Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of wholesale or retail sales experience.
* Knowledge of running community, training methods, injury prevention and products
* Ability to interact at all levels within an organization - both verbally and in writing
* Well-organized, able to establish priorities; meet deadlines, and manage projections
and functions with minimal supervision.
* Communicates marketing across all social media platforms tracking and reporting on the data.
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms and strong copywriting skills are preferred.
* Manage, organize, and optimize all social media marketing content.
* Work closely with a team of ambassadors, athletes, and bloggers to collect and distribute content as well as with the internal marketing team.
* Have exceptional language, mathematical and reasoning skills.
* He/she must be enthusiastic and energetic and have a passion for the sport
of running with a personal connection to running culture.
* Flexibility to work with short timelines in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to analyze problems and recommend problem-solving procedures
* Knowledge of social media marketing and other inbound marketing strategies
* Ability to manage diverse needs and expectations of the retailers they service.
* Ability and availability to work on weekends due to retail promotions and events is a must.
* 60% of the job is on the road travel, ability to work weekends and travel
* Must have a valid driver's license
