The Business Analyst will provide analytic support to Optum Analytics Clients and the Client Services team. The successful candidate for this position will be an analytic thinker, flexible problem-solver, excellent communicator and team player.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in Optum Analytics application suite functionality, staying current with product information, changes and updates
- Provide clients with consultative analytic support and recommendations
- Drive client issues to resolution by engaging clients and internal teams to address application or data-related issues (including working closely with our Data Management, Clinical Informatics and Engineering teams)
- Effectively articulate complex information to a variety of technical and non-technical users
- Identify creative opportunities to solve client problems
- Manage client communication around data related issues and questions
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the healthcare priorities driving use of the Optum Solutions
- Build an understanding of how data drives clinical and analytic applications
- Serve as an analytic resource for Client Service Managers and other internal teams
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Comfortable learning new technology systems
- Passionate about client satisfaction
- Excellent work ethic, high attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing or interfacing with clients/customers
- Health care experience or knowledge base highly desirable
