Juice Bar Team Member - Full-time / Part-time

We are a quickly growing natural, organic, and specialty grocer based in Boulder, CO. All positions at Lucky’s Market are required to execute their daily job responsibilities in addition to focusing on sales and customer service. It is the expectation of each employee to maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to be a team player.

As a Juice Bar Team Member, you will be responsible for making quality juice bar beverages according to recipes and customer requests. You will ensure that quality standards are being upheld for all juice bar products and will contribute to team sales by suggestive selling and sampling of juice bar products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Give every customer immediate and undivided attention.
• Make all juice bar drinks ordered.
• Follow through on all customer questions and requests. Sample department products to the customers. Take special orders and inform the Team Leader.
• Keep department supplies filled and maintained.
• Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated. Maintain back stock areas and coolers.
• Help cross-merchandise product with other departments.
• Assist other departments when necessary to facilitate customer service.
• Maintain accurate retail pricing and signage. Be aware of new products and their placement.
• Document product transfers, waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Properly package and wrap products for retail sale. Wrap and store unused products in coolers.
• Participate in Regional sales promotions.
• Wash dishes and utensils when necessary.
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have a passion for natural foods.
• Previous customer service skills preferred
• Able to work well and motivate others within a team.
• Able to communicate effectively with others and convey enthusiasm.
• Must be self-motivated and solution oriented.
• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights and weekends as required.

• Ability to adapt to the ever changing high volume retail while working in a cross-functional team environment.
• Must have the capacity to take initiative when problems arise.
• Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Ability to comprehend and adhere to health and sanitation standards.
• Must be familiar with Health Department guidelines and regulations as they pertain to a grocery retail environment.
• Must have basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
• Must understand proper handling, preparation, seasonality, and appropriate shelf life of products.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and
• below shoulders and squat.
• Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
