Maintenance Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Maintenance Electrician.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Work consists of complete installation, maintaining, and replacement of all electrical systems and equipment, working from blueprints or any other specifications. You will be reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematic circuits. Install and maintain electrical motors, controls, starters, transformers, meters, electrical equipment, lighting, electrical signals and alarm systems. Install, and maintain, high and low tension lines both inside and outside. Assemble, install, maintain, test electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment and wiring. Repair and maintain new tape and solid state logic circuit controlled machines as necessary. Measure, cut, thread, bed, assemble, and install conduit and draw wires through conduit. Clean, adjust, repair and calibrate electrical instruments and control devices such as volt meters, recordings gages, relays, thermostats, motor starting boxes. Inspect and lubricate electric motors, switch gears, transformers,etc. Must be capable of using all electrical testing devices. Requires the ability to calculate circuits and select wire sizes for all conditions of load and length of run. Requires knowledge Of and experience in working to safety codes of Underwriters and local safety codes. Requires only minimum amount of instruction and supervision. Assist and instructs Apprentices. May preform work in other groups.
