Responsibilities Help build awareness about Disney VoluntEAR opportunities; coordinate booth and event marketing tables Provide event management support for company organized Disney VoluntEAR events, Operation Uplift & Hospital Greeting Cards Act as main point of contact for Blood Drives Manage the procurement and delivery of Disney VoluntEAR T-shirts Responsible for daily monitoring of Disney VoluntEARS mailbox; proactively ensure requested responses are resolved and returned in a timely manner Daily monitoring of the Disney VoluntEAR online system to ensure that VoluntEAR hours are entered and recorded accurately Maintain positive relationships and open communications with internal departments and external organizations Basic Qualifications Demonstrated activity as a community volunteer Proven event planning and coordinating experience Proven Walt Disney World property knowledge Demonstrated strong partnering and Guest service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong social media skills, specifically the Facebook platform Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel database management functionality Willingness to learn and master new software applications Ability to be flexible with the part-time work schedule including some weekends, evenings, and overtime. In addition, days worked may vary at times.
