Job Summary This position is responsible for administering vaccinations, per established protocols, based on the nursing process, and vaccine manufacturer guidelines at flu clinics provided throughout the community. Flu Clinics are provided at various locations in Wayne, Washtenaw, Livingston and Lenawee counties.

Responsibilities* In cooperation with on-site RN, manages the clinic site, leads the clinic team, and controlls clinic supplies/inventory.

Assists with set-up and break down of clinic area.

Refers to the Clinic Notebook (containing the signed physicians order for vaccine immunizations and emergency treatment as well as all protocols and procedures) as needed.

Confirms that all systems are in place before beginning to see patients.

Required Qualifications* Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan

Successful completion of a program in nursing

Six months of acute nursing experience or equivalent

Ability to meet bonding criteria

Ability to travel from point A to point B throughout the work day as assigned

Ability to work autonomously in a non-structured environment

Desired Qualifications* Previous home health care experience

Two years nursing experience

Excellent verbal and written skills

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Pediatric skills

Work Schedule Temporary position with flexible hours. Flu clinics run from September- December 2015

Schedule varies week to week.

Hourly wage: $16.00/hr
