SHIFT: 8HOUR, Day EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Per Diem HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 40 JOB ID: 1500013037
The Cancer Center Clinical Coordinator is responsible for varied duties within the Bennett & Suzy Katz Cancer Resource Center (KCRC). These shall include:
Providing information and education related to oncology topics either within the KCRC or within the community.
Networking with community agencies
Referring patients to appropriate agencies
Follow up with patient referrals and treatment plans
Participate in DSCH oncology conferences
Oversee facilitated Cancer Support programs
Provide oncology education for medical professionals
This role works under the general direction of the Oncology Manager.
Special Training: (including license):
Required
Current and active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California or commensurate qualifications.
Current BLS certification.
Chemotherapy certification.
Computer knowledge.
Experience: (minimum, plus desired):
Required
Oncology Nursing Experience.
Minimum of two years experience in a leadership role.
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.
Preferred
At least four years clinical experience within specialty area.
Oncology Certification.
