Responsible for providing accurate and efficient telehealth services for UHS acute care hospitals including, but not limited to: general information, facilitate appointments with physicians that will in turn generate revenue for the hospitals, class registration, client assistance and practices the standards of the UHS Service Excellence program in all job related functions.
Essential Job Duties:
Assists with Physician Referral Calls and scheduling of doctor appointments.
Assists Registration for Hospital Seminars, Screenings and Education Classes.
Mails correspondence.
Answers e-mail requesting physician referrals.
Maintains confidentiality of all interactions.
Interacts with physician's office staff.
Obtains caller demographics.
Performs other duties as assigned/required.
High School Diploma with a minimum of one year call center experience.
Customer Service experience, basic typing, computer skills and phone etiquette. Medical terminology preferred.
