About this job

The Service Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients.  The Service Coordinator is expected to be responsible for scheduling to provide the highest quality service to clients.
 
Primary
 
  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Coordinate CAREGiver schedules on a daily basis
  • Monitor, mediate, and log both client and CAREGiver activity and follow up on CAREGiver assignments and client service
  • Coordinate and maintain monthly client schedules in ClearCare (web based home care software)
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records
  • Field new client inquires over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, document into ClearCare
 
Secondary
 
  • Assist in maintaining a complete Client Service Schedule
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining client journal and records in the office.
  • Participate in quarterly CAREGiver meetings
  • Participate in CAREGiver orientation/new hire training
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with both internal and external employees that lead to more effective communication and a higher level of productivity and accuracy
  • Identifies opportunities to improve patient relations and shorten the time it takes to handle scheduling processes.
  • Take after-hours on-call responsibilities as necessary

​Qulaifications
 
  • Experience scheduling/dispatching fifty (50) or more employees to work multiple shifts each week.  Prefer experience in senior care industry.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Advance Customer service skills and experience
  • Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications
  • High-level problem solving and analytical skills, technical accuracy, excellent communication skills and the highest ethical standards.
  • High School Diploma or higher degree
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
