The Finance Analyst will be a key member of the Innovation Finance team within Foods Brand Finance. This individual will be the lead finance representative on a number of innovation projects, responsible for working with cross-functional innovation teams to develop full innovation financials and analysis to support the innovation projects from ideation to commercialization. The Finance Analyst will provide financial guidance to the project teams and ensure projects remain within financial guardrails. The Financial Analyst will also support the Brand Finance team's innovation reporting and product setup in our financial systems.

Responsibilities include:

Lead the financial assessment on new innovation, including forecasting opportunity size, developing innovation P&Ls, and understanding the net impact to PepsiCo from any decision to launch the innovation

Work closely with cross-functional team in developing the business case for proposed innovation

Effectively analyze and articulate business case results and drivers - key forecast assumptions, drivers of spending, variances from expected outcomes, etc.

Support reporting needs of Innovation Finance team, including innovation performance reporting, Human Sustainability, and AOP consolidation reporting

Manage entry of innovation financials into Accolade and product hierarchy setup in financials systems.

Build strong working relationships with business partners across Marketing, Supply Chain, Research & Development, Sales and the broader NAN Finance organization

Contribute to the Brand Finance team environment and to Quaker's overall culture and commitment to the community

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting

Work Experience:

2-4 years of financial analyst experience, experience with Foods portfolio or innovation launches a plus.

Skills & Capabilities:

Strong managerial and business partnering skills and ability to influence cross functional partners and senior management

Ability to work as a team player and with cross functional teams

Demonstrated strategic thinking skills

Effective in informal and formal presentations or communications

Strong influencing skills and proven record of influencing Finance leadership and cross-functional partners

Strong foundation in the use of information systems and ability to learn/manipulate systems quickly (SAP, Essbase, Accolade, etc.)

Strong costing knowledge

Strong excel modeling skills and advanced analytical and problem solving skillsStrong time management skills
