Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Serve as one of main internal Marketing and Sales ( MK&S ) clinical resources and expected to provide input and assistance as requested with clinical aspects of marketing activities to include collateral development, training/education material development and delivery, product rollout processes, and clinical campaigns. Expected to remain up-to-date with global industry and clinical advances, particularly with Siemens technology and how it relates to competitive offerings, in order to ensure clinical content provided to MK&S colleagues and field is the most relevant to market. Support trade shows and other training and marketing events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Serve as the Cardiology subject matter expert for internal training

- Develop instructional materials (including PowerPoints, and videos) for new products, clinical applications and features.

- Conduct training, deliver presentations, and demonstrate applications to all new product stakeholders--global team and customers.

- Take an active role in department-wide processes to include customer/field support around the globe.

Innovation Center (IC) Demo Specialist Specific

- Support all customer visits with high-quality demonstrations of requested Siemens equipment.

- Particular emphasis and focus on demonstrating new technologies, Siemens-exclusive technologies, and/or software versions and features not commercially available (and hence not available to field demo personnel).

- Provide input in the preparation of customer visits to include ensure coordinating with engineering and/or service to equipment is up to date and ready for use

- Provide input regularly into marketing management and engineering group regarding functionality and potential of equipment given your experience using it.

- Gather information, gain insight, and identify issues from customers/users.

- Maintain an understanding of Siemens and competitors products and workflow.

- Review clinical content for promotional material.

- Acquire/review, annotate, archive and manage clinical images for marketing and promotional purposes.

- Collaborate with Marketing Mgr and MarCom Mgr to execute on key deliverables.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

-BS/BA in related discipline preferred

- 8-10 years of successful clinical positions in related field and successful demonstration of job definitions as stated above

-Clinical ultrasound experience in cardiology clinical applications

-Direct field and/or sales experience in ultrasound

-Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
