Description

WIS International, a leading Retail Services and Inventory Counting Service provider, is looking for multiple candidates to assist with a two week project in the DFW area at multiple retail locations with a start date of June 7th. This project will continue through June 20th.

JOB SUMMARY

Hours are approximately (no guaranteed end time) 5am - 1pm. Project will commence from June 7th - June 20th . Candidates will need to pass a background check. For this project only the rate will be 10.00 per hour. This position could possibly lead to additional work for WIS in and around the Dallas/Ft Worth area after the project is complete. Hourly rate will be adjusted as appropriate if employment continues.

JOB DUTIES

Candidates will be tagging and counting merchandise at a large retailer.

EFFORT FACTORS

Physical Demands:
  • Requires frequent walking or standing for prolonged periods of time during an inventory
  • Regularly requires a great deal of visual concentration to drive, read tags, use equipment such as WISard and computer terminals
  • Frequently requires bending, squatting or climbing a stool/ladder to check work done
  • Frequently requires lifting equipment >22lbs Mental Demands:
  • Must be mentally adaptable and flexible to deal with a variety of people and changing priorities
  • Must be able to handle the pressure of working to schedules, unusual hours of work, longer than normal days and deadlines
  • Must be able to analyze causes of interpersonal conflict (both with employees and customers) and resolve these sometimes complex issues despite ambiguities
  • Must be able to process and analyze data in a computerized environment
  • Must be able to communicate in a professional manner
