The Corporate Strategy Group functions as an in-house strategy consulting group for the company. Projects are completed at the request of the senior leadership of UnitedHealth Group's business segments. Projects cover a broad functional spectrum and include business development, operations, pricing and bid strategy, M&A due diligence, public policy, portfolio analysis and market and competitive intelligence. The Corporate Strategy Group is a relatively flat organization with all team members working together to ensure the best possible work product.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The Data Analytics team within the Corporate Strategy Group provides a variety of analytics and custom solutions applied to business problems. Work is project-based (internal to the group) and requires high-level critical thinking in applying technology to help solve analytic and business problems.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able to fill both strategic consulting and hands-on development roles

  • Strong Object Oriented Design background

  • Experience with multiple programming languages

Assets:



  • Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial/startup environment

  • Strong Web development background

  • Familiar with major JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Angular, Backbone)

  • Familiar with front-end build tools like (Grunt, Gulp)

  • Strong Mobile/Tablet development background (Hybrid, Native and Mobile html)

  • iOS

  • Android

  • Xamarin, jQuery Mobile, Ionic

  • Healthcare experience
