Experis is looking for a Release (HotFix) Project Coordinator
for a long term project.
Vendor will provide release management services including project coordination, management, production, operations, and release of product servicing updates (Hotfixes, Security Updates and GDRs) for Developer Division.
Working within DevDivs servicing releases business
Primary responsibility is to manage the release process to deliver Hotfixes to customers within the SLA defined.
Job Details:
- Manage the release process for servicing updates and ship HotFixes as defined within SLA
- Track servicing update Work Items using TFS-based workflow tools
- Author and build product layouts and patches in conjunction with the Build Lab
- Coordinate smoke testing with the Quality Assurance Team
- Working with the servicing triage team and other engineering teams to analyze, debug, and address issues in servicing releases.
- Maintain up-to-date Product Servicing related documentation as assigned.
- Release updates to customers through various release channels including Hotfix Server, MSDN Code Gallery,
- Connect, and the MS Download Center
- Coordinate Hotfix execution across Developer Division
- Product and Business Units including stakeholder partners
- Monthly tracking and reporting on the status and metrics for servicing releases
- Support the operations of the servicing release business including identifying and making process improvements to increase efficiencies in the business.
