Financial Analyst needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Silver Spring, MD
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Ability to increasingly develop, retain and be conversant on affiliate agreement terms and conditions is critical to effectively performing in this position.
- Proficient Excel skills
- BA/BS required
- Prior professional work experience, especially in cable and/or the media industry, a plus
- Critical thinker and excellent problem solver with superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to frame complex issues, articulate findings and recommend optional solutions
What You'll Be Doing:
- Effectively analyze large amounts of account data from various systems (including SAP and the Affiliate Management System, AMS) to identify contract compliance issues.
- Manage large amounts of data to identify reconciling balances on invoices in AMS versus SAP. Understand all variances to educate others to prevent the same issue from recurring
- Support the Affiliate Finance accounts receivable by effectively managing a portfolio of approximately 300 Small Affiliate customers in accordance with established processes and procedures.
- Take the appropriate steps to resolve all variances in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and effectively discuss complex terms and conditions in affiliate distribution agreements.
- Respect, protect and grow strong professional business dealings and relationships with internal customers in Affiliate Sales and Legal and our external customers
- Deliver superior quality financial information in a timely basis.

- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service including professional and courteous telephone communication
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to proactively identify, prioritize and manage important issues with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to build confidence and trust with department members and internal and external business partners
