Financial Planning & Analysis Technology Manager Job

Financial Planning & Analysis Technology Manager needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in East Hanover. NJ.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Efficiently manage time to handle peaks and valleys of workload Be able to support various parts of our organization (Sales Demand Analysis, Corporate Planning, FCRS Filings, Research & Development, Techops, etc)
- Provide direct customer support Define and lead process improvements that positively impact finance workflows Serve as single point of contact for tool related inquiries and work with IT team to resolve hardware issues as they arise Multi tasking on different systems, Advanced Excel (including some Visual Basic programming), TM1.
- Provide a perspective on tools and technologies Novartis should consider using, based on products available in the market place
- Establish strong business partnerships with internal customers; demonstrate an understanding of their responsibilities in order to provide expertise-based opinions & service Proactively identify / anticipate business partner's needs and align resources and ensure system availability Influence effectively at all levels of the organization to get tasks accomplished Formulate and persuasively present the business case for major initiatives
- Proactively identify best practices and implement across platforms
- Represent US Finance in communications with Basel regarding tools and technology being considered or already in use globally Collaborate in the design and establishment of policies related to system access
- Leveraging technology to provide timely, accurate, and cost effective results and decision-support tools to management in compliance with applicable standards and policies
- Design technical integration of data warehouse components to create decision-support tools
- Develop new reporting and planning models and tools that address end-user requirements
- Link accounting and non accounting data to provide meaningful business information
- Translate business / organizational decisions into reporting requirements
- Define reporting requirements taking into account statutory, regulatory and internal perspectives
- Create detailed integrated project plans that track tasks, resource allocation, timeline, budget, communication plan, success factors
- Manage team that can work cross-functionally to complete tasks

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- BS Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Information Systems
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of SAP transactional support and two (2) years of TM1 administration to be considered.
- Knowledge of SAP / BW, Excel, Access
- The candidate must be able to manage parallel projects, coordinate IT resources working on process improvement projects, liaising with customers on projects and provide a long-term perspective to select the right tools to meet the client needs
