Sr. Messaging Engineer is needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Silver Spring, MD.
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Design, implement and support an enterprise-wide messaging and collaborative environment
What You'll Be Doing:
- 50% Leading assigned projects related to messaging and collaborative services: product implementation, migration, operational SOP.
- 20% Tier 4 operational 24 / 7 support
- 10% Researching new messaging technologies
- 10% Documentation and reporting; Develop metrics and performance indexes
- 10% Interfacing with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams, SME and stakeholders
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of ten (10+) years with global messaging and collaboration in and enterprise-wide environment with over 7000+ users
- PC / Mac MS Outlook 2010-2013 / Office365, MS Exchange 2013, MS Lync 2010-2013, Active Directory, Network, Backup / Disaster Recovery, Windows 2008 / 2012 R2, VMWare, IIS, SAN / Storage
- 24 / 7 high-availability enterprise-wide NOC environment
- Able to communicate effectively between technical (i.e. developers, testers), non-technical (i.e. users, general staff) as well as cross-functional audiences
- BA / BS in Computer Science or related Engineering industries
- Bonus Points!
- ITIL
