Senior RedHat Linux System Administrator needed for a contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Possession of or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required as a condition for employment.
Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer.

What You'll Be Doing:
- The prospective candidate will be responsible for supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems (physical and virtual) for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC).
- Principally will implement, operate and maintain hardware and software associated with RHEL servers, Local Area Networks (LAN's), Wide Area Networks (WAN's) and associated communications.
- They will develop and engineer the Domain structure and environment.
- They will share responsibility in engineering and provisioning a virtualization Infrastructure environment.
- They must have the ability to coordinate engineering and diagnostic activities with other systems areas (Network Operations, Data Center Operations, Help Desk, and Applications Development) and Engineering staff in supporting the analysis and recommendation of both technical solutions and maintaining the Windows Domain and virtualization infrastructure.
- They will diagnose any shortfall in these Services, and identify potential service issues.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in related or equivalent technical field plus six (6) years of experience (6 additional years substitute the B.S.). Technical Certifications can be substituted for years of experience.
- Vendor CERT for Red Hat (RHCSA) a plus.
- Security+ Certification required to starting work on Task Order.
- Advanced knowledge of RHEL 5/6 Administration/ Configuration in medium to large scale environments; to include applying RHEL Server Security Management practices: System Hardening and supporting security policies, procedures and guidelines (DoD STIG).
- Advanced knowledge of RHEL 5/6 Server.
- Advanced knowledge of RHEL architecture constructs.
- Advanced knowledge of DNS (BIND, MS DNS).
- Hands-on expertise with Apache Web Server (customized compilation).
- Hands-on expertise with virtualization - Kernel-based Virtual Machines (KVMs) and VMware vSphere 5/6.
- Scripting experience with the ability to analyze script content.
