Director of Telecommunications needed for a full time, direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located near Berwyn, PA!
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Expert in strategic planning, direction, oversight, guidance, resources and standardization in departmental/interdepartmental/ processes of telecommunication needs
- Very experienced in developing, standardizing, and implementing policies and procedures addressing telecommunications issues
- Hands on experience preparing fiscal and operational reports to executive level staff
What You Will Be Doing:
- Provides strategic planning, direction, oversight, guidance, resources and standardization in departmental/interdepartmental/ processes in provision of telecommunication services at clients multiple locations while maintaining the company's' vision and mission
- Expertise in directing and interacting with staff and management in a Telecommunications department
- Oversees and provides strategic planning for clients activities related to telecommunications including operator services, maintenance, installation and repair of telephone systems/equipment, purchase or lease of products/services, paging and cellular services, training of end users, etc.
- Work with Director of Technology in assuring reliable communication of the organizations network and related interfaced equipment
- Develops, standardizes and implements policies and procedures addressing telecommunications issues at different client locations
- Plans, prepares and monitors the Telecom department budgets client
- Directs project work involving implementations, product and vendor selections, new site openings, Telecommunications equipment upgrades and large department relocations
- Maintains awareness of industry trends and state of the art technology and implements best equipment and practices for increased efficiency, customer service and fiscal responsibility
- Prepare fiscal and operations reports monthly for executive level staff as needed (monthly)
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required
- Masters in Health or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Telecommunications management, preferably in a Health Care environment
- Minimum of four (4) years of hands on experience working with the following equipment: Avaya telephone systems and administrative workstations, Xtend System, Motorola and Zetron Paging Systems, PC
- Travel throughout the regional area required; normal office environment
